Meet the people behind Zeroism
Nestled in the heart of London, our team brings together a powerful group of agile, passionate and creative individuals. We bring expertise across multiple disciplines - analysis, strategy, and communications - combined with decades of experience in climate change policy. Our motivation lies in driving rapid and real transformation through encouraging businesses to think differently in the race towards a sustainable future.
We have driven and led the UK government’s net-zero agenda, been the voice of COP26 and devised fame making campaigns for individuals and businesses. Now, we are working closely with international institutions across the economy to bring their own success.

Anouka anchored her career in the Treasury before heading to Number 10 where over the last five years she has been the prime minister's head of net zero and energy security. She led the UK push to become the first major economy to put net zero 2050 into law under Theresa May. Under Boris Johnson, she wrote the prime minister's ten point plan and the 2022 British energy security strategy, set up a cross-government Net Zero team and helped established the No10 Delivery Unit. Anouka led the charge to bring COP26 to the UK and together with Allegra, the pair played their part ensuring COP26 was about changes in the real world and delivering global net zero.

Allegra spent nearly 20 years as a well-known journalist for national broadcasters and newspapers before entering government at the beginning of the Covid pandemic. As head of strategic communications in the Treasury she helped roll out once-in-a-generation policy interventions (Furlough, Kickstarter, Bounce Back loans, Eat Out to Help Out) and went on to be the PM’s press secretary in No10 and his spokesperson for COP26. Along with Anouka, the pair worked hard to make sure net zero was well understood by business and families and that COP26 was a moment for the UK to be proud of.
